Project Background
The new data center of China Zheshang Bank Hangzhou Branch officially commenced planning and construction in April 2020 and was tendered in August 2020. This project involved the renovation and connection of the front-end low-voltage distribution room, power supply access for the data center, UPS input and output access, and connection from the end-of-row cabinet to PDU in cabinets for a total of 226 cabinets. A 2N+1 power supply scheme was adopted for this power supply and distribution to ensure data security.
Solution
The project deployed 11 front-end MNS drawer cabinets, 6 UPS input and output distribution cabinets, 3 data center power cabinets, 12 hot-swappable and expandable precision end-of-row cabinets, intelligent busbars, and 4 48V communication power supply DC end-of-row cabinets.
Project Significance
- Adopting the new MNS 2.0 cabinet type, with the main input utilizing ABB E2 series 4000A frame circuit breakers. These breakers are compact yet capable of handling high currents. The cabinets are equipped with standard electrical fire and busbar temperature monitoring to ensure sufficient power supply for a large number of data servers during peak user times and to safeguard the power supply security of the branch.
- Wall-mounted low-voltage distribution boxes are used on each floor, blending seamlessly with the on-site decoration for an elegant and sophisticated appearance.
- It reliably ensures the safe and reliable operation of the data center.
